🎣 Fishing Zone: Salmon fishing reserve (coto salmonero) (200 m upstream of the old footbridge to 100 m downstream of the Los Llaos shelter)

🌊 Section Type: Deep calm pool with a split into two channels

Ideal for: Fishing from the right bank and summer navigation through the right channel

📝 Section Description:

Los Llaos, located at km 3 of the Sella River, is a calm, strategic stretch suitable for both recreational paddling and fishing in the salmon reserve (coto salmonero).

In the past, this spot was home to the first footbridge over the Sella River, but it was removed after a flood.

Today, the area is known for its deep, calm pool. On the right bank, there’s an excellent fishing zone, popular with salmon anglers.

In the middle of the river, there’s a small island that splits the flow into two channels:

🔹 The left channel is narrow and shallow.

🔹 The right channel is wider and carries more flow, making it more technical.

Both channels are navigable, but the right channel is recommended for its greater maneuvering space, especially during the summer or when paddling in groups.
