📝 Section Description:

Llordón, at km 11 of the Sella River, is a dynamic stretch marking the transition between calm zones and renewed acceleration of the current. Here the river regains strength after several quieter sections, forming a rapid with fast-moving water.

Although it’s not especially narrow, it does require some attention when maneuvering in a canoe, kayak, or on a SUP board, especially when descending in a group or in the presence of other vessels.

From a fishing perspective, it lies within a traditional salmon fishing reserve (coto salmonero), with good activity thanks to the oxygen-rich flow, making it ideal for species such as salmon and trout.

Llordón also marks the entry into the final third of the most popular descent route, making it an important point to assess the group’s physical condition and adjust the pace of the trip.
