49th Descent of the Sella
New controversy at the start: a loud firecracker caused the majority of paddlers to think it was the official start signal, even though traffic lights were already in use. No disciplinary action was taken, despite the evident chaos.
Ramos-Misioné and Ángel Villar won with a time of 1 h 17 min 12 s, followed by Juan Ramón González “Monotos” and Miguel Ángel Varela.
