12th Descent of the Sella
For the first time, Galicia took part in the Descent of the Sella, reflecting the race’s growing appeal beyond Asturias. That year saw 42 canoes representing 10 different towns, showcasing the event’s expanding and diverse character.
The team colors were also adjusted:

In sporting results, the winners were Antonio and Leandro Cuesta from Ribadesella with their canoe “Omedina”, finishing in 2 hours, 2 minutes, and 53 seconds.
