 Lampreys:          

The lampreys are primitive vertebrates whose characteristics are: mouth to circulate in the shape of windy, fleshy body and extended.

 

  

They are active animals during the night, during the day they hide among the stones, save during the reproduction.

When they are going to reproduce, the male one itself fixed to a stone, moves vigorously its body, excavating a nest whose diameter comes be of 1,5 mtrs of diameter or even more.

In Asturias is not very frequent its presence, glimpsing the fund they can come some copies observe, or at least their impressive nests.
