All the participants incorporate already the technological innovations incorporated in the previous edition, what does that the canoes come cost 3000 pesetas (18 euro).

Two new countries are recorded: England and Swiss. They participate 72 canoeists embarked upon 45 canoes. The foreign canoeists are soaked each time but of the Sella.

This edition takes foreign color therefore the three first positions occupy them not national canoeists: winners of this edition were Belgians, Van der Moore and Broeckmeyer with a time of 1 h 41 min. 11 seg.; the seconds classified were French Jacques and André Combret with 1 h 42 min. 20 seg. and the third parties Luciano Albera and Mark Tilli of Italy with 1 h 44 min. 45 seg.
